We make every effort to ship your package to you as soon as possible. However, there are conditions that Virago Creations has no control over, which may cause delays.
Sales Tax
All orders shipped to New Mexico addresses will be charged 6.875% sales tax.
Credit Card Approval
Your order will be processed and shipped out to you within 4 business days AFTER your credit card or e-check payment has been confirmed and authorized. Inconsistent credit card, billing and/or shipping information may delay your order.
Cut Off Time
Orders are not processed on holidays, weekends, during show times or vacation dates (which will be prominently posted on the Virago Creations website.)
USPS First Class and Priority Mail
Delivery to some destinations may take up to seven days for US addresses and longer for International addresses. Generally, most US metropolitan areas should receive delivery within four days. Virago Creations is not responsible for loss or damage due to USPS handling. Optional insurance is available for all items. In the unfortunate case of loss or damage, it is the buyers responsibility to submit the insurance claim according to USPS guidelines.
Shipping and Handling Charges
Shipping and handling charges include actual shipping cost, delivery confirmation plus a reasonable amount to cover handling procedures and materials. All pieces are shipped in a gift box with appropriate padding inside of the USPS package to help prevent any damage to the pieces.
EXCHANGES
Arts & Craft Shows
All sales at bazaars, corporate fairs, art or trunk shows are final! No returns or exchanges will be accepted.
Custom Designs
As per the Custom Design agreement, all Custom Designs are Final Sale! No returns or exchanges will be accepted.
Retail Store / Gallery
All Virago Creations jewelry received as a gift, and/or purchased through a retail store, gallery, private sale, auction or any other venue not directly through Virago Creations online store, must be returned or exchanged at that venue only, in accordance with their policies.
Virago Creations Online Store
If you are dissatisfied for any reason with your purchase from Virago Creations online store, we will be more than happy to EXCHANGE your item for an item of equal or greater value (except for earrings). For health reasons, all earrings are final sale. Items must be unworn, in their original condition/packaging with tags still attached. Your item for exchange must be postmarked within 14 days of receiving them. Items received after the time alloted will be refused and returned to sender. If you select an exchange item of greater value, an invoice for the additional amount will be issued.
Exchanging Items by Mail
To facilitate a smooth, hassle-free transaction when exchanging items through Virago Creations, we ask that you follow these procedures:
Step 1: Exchange Request
It is required that you email Virago Creations that you would like to exchange your purchase. Make sure to include your name, the product name, quantity and price. You will find the necessary information on your original invoice. We will reply with the return shipping address and issue a Return Authorization number, which must be written on the outside of the package before mailing. Reasons for Exchange
New item(s) you wish to receive. Please include the product name and quantity.
Step 2: Pack and Ship
Ship item(s) in a secure package (the original packaging if possible). The return package must be postmarked within 14 days of receiving them. Packages must be sent prepaid with Return Authorization number written on the outside of the package. We suggest that you insure the package and send with signature confirmation. We will not be responsible for any lost exchanges.
Items postmarked and/or received after the time alloted will be refused and returned to sender. Packages not previously authorized or without the Return Authorization number written on the outside of the package will be refused and returned to sender. We will not accept C.O.D. deliveries. Virago Creations will only pay for return shipping charges if you were sent an incorrect, damaged or defective item.
A Note About Privacy
Virago Creations is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Virago Creations collects information from our users at several different points on our website.
Order
We request information from the user on the order form. Here a user must provide required contact information (like name, phone and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user. We cannot and will not process an order without valid contact information. We do not sell customer information to anyone, ever.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. Some of our business partners use cookies on our site (for example, the shopping cart). However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.
Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Sharing
We use a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
We partner with another party to provide specific services (for example, UPS or the United States Post Office). When the user signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked, or open, when you are just ‘surfing.’
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices.
